Question by : Has anyone ever been their own lawyer?
You see it all the time in movies and games and such – defense lawyers being put on trial, and defending themselves..obviously, it isn’t commonplace, but I was wondering if anyone has ever actually done this?

“He that defends himself has a fool for a client.”
An old saying, but a true one. The person LEAST likely to act as his own defense lawyer is a lawyer.
(And the person “most” likely to do it is a tax protester… but that’s because no lawyer who wants to keep his Bar card will present the defenses that such protesters want presented.)
